This form is for parents who have decided to sign up their child for a Robotics class. You will need to fill out this form for each child separately.
The most common question for parents and students is what does it cost and what is the commitment? Students will be assigned a team to learn and compete with their team, so you are committing to each other. Please note that you are committing to minimum of five months (1 semester). Each team will meet once a week for two hours (one hour for lower elementary students) at the Silver Springs Community Center. The fee breakdown is as follows:
$100 per child monthly for 4 weekly meetings, due at your child's first meeting and then the first of every month.
$75 per child for Yearly registration, due upon registering. Used for competitions and other fees needed for the year.
$75 per child for Yearly equipment fee. Used for all Robotics sets, tools, and game pieces. Equipment Fees may be spread out into 3 equal payments, if needed.
We are working on obtaining some scholarships as needed.
For homeschoolers, for I am a certified teacher and can also issues grades for an elective course and have been approved for Step Up.
